All the information you need to get your team/s up and running for our 2022 season.

SEASON FORMAT & DATES

The 2022 season has an earlier start date due to a number of public holidays that will affect the Round One competition. Please see the below dates for the season. The season will finish at the usual time, with finals day on 27 August

• Round one challenge matches will only be played in Premier 1 & 2 grades, and these two matches will be played midweek.  Senior grades will have an automatic promotion/relegation based on round one results. 
• Semifinals will involve all teams in all grades.  Premier 1, Premier 2 and Senior 1 will also each have one match played midweek ahead of finals day.  On finals day, only the final game for each grade will be played.

Atiawa Toa FM Netball TOURNAMENT

Save the date for our annual Atiawa Toa FM Pre-season Tournament, Saturday 23 April.  We are excited that the senior grades will be played inside Walter Nash Centre.  We hope our local clubs will support this event and make the most of the opportunity for some team building and to test your combinations. 

GRADING

Premier (closed) grades do not play on grading weeks.  All senior teams will have 3 short games (2 x 10 minute halves).   When making the draw, the aim is to have two of your short games scheduled back to back (and a gap between those two and the first/third game) to limit time at the courts for each team. This is dependant on team entries.

REGISTRATIONS

All team and player registration are completed through sporty. Please use your club login details to enter this year. Futher support and informaiton will be provided early 2022.

Fees for 2022 will be the same as 2021 entry fees (based on 12 players per team), that is $1440/team for Prem 1 & 2, and $1360/team for Senior grades. GST inclusive.

Umpire levies are the same as 2021 with the exception that the development levy per team will be applied to all teams.

Umpire levies: ALL TEAMS: $60 per team, plus $355 per Premier team or Snr 1&2 $315 per team,

Fees will be invoiced, and are due on 1 June 2022.

AGE GROUP DEVELOPMENT

We will be selecting squads/teams in the U14, U16, U18 and Open age groups in 2022.  The NNZ U18 Championships will be held in Christchurch, and Opens in Palmerston North.  Further information to be distributed early 2022.

SENIOR SEASON DATES

Note, no games on Queen's Birthday Weekend, or ANZAC weekend and Matariki holidays.
